Ive since resolved it myself by waiting for the battery to die on its own (took a few days), then used the built in factory reset (big FYI, you dont need this software, just press the power key + volume up key when turning on the phone - its free). I asked for a refund, and they want to see screenshots of the issue. It gets you to a step which asks you to put your phone into recovery mode, then points you to a guide if you can't turn it off, which basically just says wait for the battery to die.

Tenorshare 4ukey popped up, with an article on their website claiming they can turn off the phone and factory reset it. I googled how to turn it off anyways, given I just gave this thing a full charge and the battery won't drain that slow without use and i didnt want to wait.

Something it turns out you can't do unless you know your pin (presumably to stop people from factory resetting your phone or stopping the find my phone service). However to perform a factory reset you need to turn your phone off. I bought a new Samsung phone the other day, and stupidly forgot my pin only hours later.

Tenorshare 4ukey is falsley advertised, no refund The company is a joke, and couldn't even pretend to offer the 100% as discussed on their site. Update I already received my refund (see update above) and Tenorshare support's most recent correspondence offered me a 30% refund. To this day, they are writing me back in their "customer support" in never ending loops offering me free software, and ignoring requests for a refund. This was not in any way supported, or refunded through Tenorshare. UPDATE : The dispute I put in with PayPal (i put dispute in immediatley after trying to call them on their paypal contact # which is fake) ended in my favor, and a refund was issued. I would NOT recommend giving this company your business. They keep ignoring requests for refund, and I look foward to what happens at my 30day refund window. They keep offering different 'solutions' however none have worked to date. There is no software I need, other than the one I purchased. Update as of : The support I get has offered me 3 times now to have "other software free of charge". Also, they are sneaky and make the charge reoccurring (don't try to cancel through them, just cancel through paypal). The paypal phone number associated with the charge is not activiated. Contacting support gets stuck in a long delayed loop where they keep asking same questions and delay so you are then "out of 30day warranty window". Purcahesd "Tenorshare 4uKey for Android" and while it appeared to almost work it did not get past the FRP.
